Sandy Berry has spent more than half her life in Victoria. Born and raised here, she left the island to attend BCIT. While in Vancouver, and later Nelson, she taught fitness, started a family, and became licensed in 1996. After a brief stint at Coldwell Banker, she moved to a small independent office in 1997, Valhalla Path Realty. In 1999, Sandy completed her Associate Broker’s license to support her managing broker at Valhalla Path Realty. However, soon enough family commitments encouraged her to return , so in 2005 Sandy moved back to her hometown with her 3 kids in tow.

Since then Sandy has established herself in Victoria as a leading real estate professional. A seasoned traveller, Sandy has visited many places, but still believes Victoria to be one of the nicest cities on Earth. This passion and love of the city, along with extensive firsthand knowledge of the area, provide her with eager enthusiasm to help her clients find their first homes, their dream homes, investment properties, or recreational properties and develop their own love of the island.

As much as she loves Victoria, Sandy still stays close to her extended family and friends in the Kootenays and visits Nelson and surrounding areas regularly, staying current in the Kootenay real estate market. Although, that’s probably more of an excuse to enjoy the Kootenay powder than she may admit; an avid skier, one of Sandy’s favorite past times include hitting the slopes with her 3 grown kids. Sandy is also passionate about riding her motorcycle and has taken numerous trips overseas and throughout North America to explore some of the rest of the world.

Sandy has been involved in numerous renovations and building projects in Canada and overseas. Continuing with her passion for the real estate industry, Sandy brings her experience in real estate sales, renovating and building, experience in overseas real estate markets, and dedication and commitment to superior service to you from her office at Newport Realty.

Sandy's daughter, Teigan Craven,  joined her early 2012 as her unlicensed real estate assistant and Sandy could not be more thrilled! Teigan is currently completing her real estate licensing and will expand her duties to support Sandy's team at Newport Realty. She looks forward to working with you to meet your real estate goals.
